This is a CFS3 skins package that was originally posted on the Netwings site. They were intended for stock CFS3 and/or CFS3 with Firepower ONLY. Nothing has been modified in any way and it is still in it's original *.zip file. Here is the README for full acknowledgement:

FDWB - V2.84.65
Version 2.0

This is one of several aircraft created for the Battle of France Campaign for CFS3.
For information on this campaign, other aircraft, and updates to this model, please
visit my website at www3.telus.net/murrdaka/.
Because of the general lack of early-WWII aircraft for CFS3, I started creating
aircraft for this period to make a BoF campaign possible. I hope you will enjoy
tackling the challenges incumbent with the aircraft of this era. Aircraft that I
have created for the Battle of France are prefixed with "sitz" - referring to
"sitzkrieg" which was the original name for my BoF campaign.

FLIGHT MODEL: Developed by Craig "Viso" Murray using Jerry Beckwith's FDWB v2.84.65,
the Damage Workbook 2.32. It has not been qualified as a 1% aircraft.
PHYSICAL MODEL and VIRTUAL COCKPITS: Prepared by Craig "Viso" Murray using gmax 1.2.
TEXTURES:
Original External Surfaces: Nigel Dickinson
Original Virtual Cockpit: Nigel Dickinson
FLIGHT TESTERS: A special thanks to those who provided some very helpful feedback
through the development and testing phases. In particular, thanks to Nigel Dickinson,
Nick Walsh, and James Allen.
I would like to acknowledge a debt of gratitude to Jeff Marsh (www.pavaservices.com/cfs/)
for sharing background information on the Fairey Battle. Jeff has a marvelous collection
of aircraft for CFS2 and I hope he will build some for CFS3 in the future.
Textures ("Skins")
==================
Nigel Dickinson has created skins and stand-alones for this aircraft. These are
available at Sim Outhouse (www.combatfs.com).
Please note that skins for v1.0 are not compatible with v2.0. The textures were remapped
in order to provide better detail and, as a result, the two are not interchangeable. As
some skins were issued for v1.0, please take care not to mix-and-match.
Fairey Battle Mk2
=================
Designed to meet a 1932 specification for a light day-bomber capable of carrying a 1,000 lb
bomb-load for 1000 miles at 200 MPH, the Battle first flew in 1936. Five marks were produced,
but differences were limited to variations in engine type, with Mark I signifying the Merlin
I engine, the Mark II the Merlin II, and so on.
The Fairey Battle was Britain's primary tactical bomber at the outbreak of World War II,
and 144 were initially sent to France as part of the Advanced Air Striking Force. In fact,
a Battle gunner was credited with the first RAF victory of the war by shooting down a
Bf 109 in September 1939. However, this promising start was quickly reversed as Battles
were destroyed in droves while conducting various (often unescorted) bombing missions during
the Battle of France (May-Jun 1940). Perhaps the most notable mission was the attack on the
Maastricht Bridge. 35 of 63 Battles failed to return, and the remainder were unsuccessful
in destroying the bridge.
Shortly thereafter, Battles were withdrawn from front-line service. However, they continued
to serve as trainers, notably in Canada as part of the Commonwealth Air Training Plan. They
also served as target tugs, turret trainers, and naval reconnaissance roles. South Africa,
Belgium, and Turkey also operated bomber versions.

DESIGN NOTES:
=============
- Although the Fairey Battle carried its bombs in wing bays, when the bomb-bay doors were
opened, the bombs were extended on jacks to allow dive-bombing. Since CFS3 doesn't
allow steep-angle bomb releases from internal bays, the bombs have been configured as
external weapons. The result: you don't have to open the bomb-bay doors to release the
bombs. But it looks much nicer if you do!
- The Fairey Battle carried a crew of three: pilot, bombardier/navigator, and a
wireless operator/rear gunner. However, this model does not include a virtual cockpit
seat for the bombardier/navigator.
- The gunner's seat features two views: one where they eyepoint is "attached" to the
machine gun and swivels with it and another where the eyepoint is static. Hit F4 to
switch between the two.
- Following a lengthy discussion on SOH, I set the rate limit for the rear gun at 17.
This was a compromise between 60 (normally used for players) and 05 (for AI).
- LOD Information (Polygons counted from Mesh Select). This information is included for
benefit of other designers. Essentially, these figures measure the "richness" of the
model in terms of detail - at least as far as the computer is concerned.

TO INSTALL:
===========
1. Unzip the entire aircraft into your CFS3/AIRCRAFT folder.
2. This aircraft requires the 1% Guns/Weapons pack. Download this from www.avhistory.org.
3. This aircraft requires my French gauge pack (Fr_Gauges v1.zip). Please refer to
the installation instructions. This pack can be obtained from Sim Outhouse
(www.combatfs.com). Copy and paste the following location into your browser:

FLYING NOTES:
=============
- Enjoy your flying time while you're aloft. Enemy fighters will find you to be fairly
easy prey due to your limited armament and poor agility.
- Your payload of 4x 250lb bombs is good and bad. It's good, because you can take two
passes against your target. It's bad, because you need to hit most of your targets
dead on the mark to destroy them.
