Team Daedalus has substantially completed our long term project to enhance Akemi’s original mz-fw190-models to bring them up to current model standards and to expand the number of the various FW190 marks available to the CFS2 community.
The FW190A-9 mark was the last production version of the Wurger. They had a blown canopy and wide blade propellers and used an increased horse power engine, the 2000 h.p. BMW801F or S. The cowl length increase by 30mm and the cooling fan had 14 blades as opposed to the previous 12 blade version plus the oil tank armor was increased by 4 mm. This gave a useful boost in performance but by 1945 the average quality of Luftwaffe pilots had decreased to the point that it didn’t matter.
This is a tribute to to Akemi Mizoguchi's memory and for all the excellent aircraft he has done for everyone over the years. Thank You Akemi!
