This is a CFS3 mod package that was originally posted on the Netwings site. They were intended for stock CFS3 and/or CFS3 with Firepower ONLY.
Nothing has been modified in any way and it is still in it's original *.zip file. Here is the README for full acknowledgement:
Just backup your current effects file, then extract to your CFS3 main folder. Then rename the effects file you want to try out first to effects.xml.
These are beta, I have tested them, they work fine and I like both of them. (But I like the Medium tracers better
)
Also, backup the tracerside5.dds and tracerend5.dds files in your effects/fxtextures folder.
MOVE THEM TO A DIFFERENT FOLDER! DO NOT KEEP THEM IN THE CFS3 FOLDER!
These files give the tracers their colour, and I have changed that to a more realistic orange.
This Effects file is courtesy of Master Fox. I have included Foxes dds files with this upgrade.
