This is a 26 mission campaign about the defense of Sicily by Regia Aeronautica pilots in 1943. You will first fly the Macchi MC-202 with 153° Gruppo, 53° Stormo, and during the second half of the campaign change to 150° Gruppo, flying the Bf-109G.
The missions involve escorting naval and aerial convoys to Tunisia, then, after the end in Africa, defending Pantelleria against Allied air raids, and finally, after the loss of this island, intercepting bombers targeting airfields and ports in Sicily.
The campaign ends with the Allied invasion of Sicily, when 53° Stormo, almost out of serviceable fighters by this time, left Sicily for the Italian mainland.
