B-24H-10-FO 42-52154 was produced at the Ford Company's Willow Run plant. It was assigned to the 734th Bomb Sqdn, 453rd Bomb Group, 8th AAF. This aircraft was the sole survivor of the original 61 aircraft assigned to the 453rd at war's end. It was returned to the ZI and eventually scrapped at Altus, Oklahoma. This well used aircraft had the usual Depot modified additional armor applied to the cockpit area. You can tell it is a Ford built aircraft by the wavey demarcation line between the OD and the grey bottom of the aircraft.
