This is a repaint of the stock Hellcat as one belonging to VF-27, the only navy Hellcats to ever have noseart. It didn't last long. Even though 8 Hellcats from the Fighting 27 held off 80 enemy planes for over 15 minutes until they lost the Princeton and had to land on other carriers. Their artwork got a big "I don't think so" from the brass in charge. It "just wasn't Navy".
