It's kinda a information overload what really set my path was the way the ship was treated in her afterlife with her bowls laid open for years for people in the Baltimore area to gawk at. I know we can't save every ship but when they take um down they should do it fast and respectful.
Thankfully her sister USS Midway will have a afterlife worth living as a Museum ship
