GB ETO Skinpack for Wolfi's TBF1c Avenger by UncleTgt
This is a collection of GB ETO repaints for the TBF1c Avenger made by Wolfi for CFS 2.
It includes 2D panel bitmaps made WIN 7+ compatible (I just made them larger), as WIN 7+ O/S struggles with 1024 x 768 bitmaps.
I revised the DP file to use payloads more appropriate to UK use. It makes use of my GB Bombs, Depth charges & Mines.
The UK service mods included adding domed observation windows aft, & seating the Observer directly behind the Pilot. This space is taken up with a radio/electronic equipment deck in Wolfi's US plane, but I added the window domes & Observer through the DP file.
So long as you don't look too closely at the Observer's cockpit area, I'm quite pleased with the result. The Observer & domed window objects are included in this zip.
The textures are: "4G" FN869 From 846 sqn FAA, operating from HMS Tracker on the Arctic Convoy run, circa April 1944.
"H" JZ554 From 854 sqn FAA, operating out of Hawkinge during June & July 1944 in support of the D-Day landings.
"2B" FN849 From 846 sqn FAA, operating from HMS Trumpeter off the Norwegian coast during October 1944
"J - C" JZ217 Also from HMS Trumpeter. Aircraft was lost during Operation Judgement, Norway, 4th May 1945
To install, unzip the download to a temporary location. Move/copy files to the matching folder names inside your chosen CFS 2 install.
