    Alpha Sim B-24H "Little Warrior" 493rd BG, 8th AF.zip 2024-06-27

    The 493rd began flying missions in early June, 1944 using B-24H aircraft. By early autumn, they transitioned on to B-17s for the duration of the war. "Little Warrior" was shot down on 29 Jun 44 on a mission to Quakenbruk. Flak tore in to their bomb bay rupturing the fuel transfer system and...
