This repaint represents an LTV A-7E Corsair II (BuNo 159644), of USN Attack Squadron VA-147 Argonauts, which carried the markings as the XO's aircraft, as it appeared during the 1978-79 WestPac/IO cruise aboard USS Constellation (CV-64).
