´"Nobody serves our republic..."

A good airline, I remember flying on them, oops, guess that show's my age! Always liked the ruptured duck logo!

For those with ornithophobia:

Thinking about going bananas next, if you catch my drift...

Yo dawg, I heard you like bananas, so...

...we painted your airplane yellow.

Hm, did RW serve bananas on their flights?

No replies? No love letters? No appreciation at all?

Nice, I won't have to upload this stuff then!

One more:

Do want the northwest one. And if you don't upload I'll have to climb half world with a flashdrive. How's that for a love letter, dude?

Thanks for that blast from the past.

Am not shopping for a repaint here (your work is great, but I don't fly the type as of the moment), but was wondering - have you had any luck finding one of the old Northeast Airlines "Yellowbird" TV ads? I remember them like it was yesterday ("Yellowbird/the first to Miami sun/Yellowbird/makes flying to Boston fun") but can't find any on the Internets. Is there a stash of them somewhere that I'm missing?

Not quite done yet.

Is there a stash of them somewhere that I'm missing?

I would say Youtube (obviously), but the only thing there about NE is this:

(And judging from the first comment, you already know this one, lol.)

Speaking of old airlines, I was hoping someone feels like doing some fictionals of CP Air for the PMDG fleet..ie..737, 747, MD11 :) I loved their orange and silver schemes.

CP Air *did* use some 727s in its history, but I've got no love for that airline or their livery.

(Canadian Airlines, however...but they never had 727s.)

When I was a kid I used to ride on PSA alot. I remember their MD-80s and BAe 146s. I also remember their competitor AirCal:mixedsmi:

PSA was a cool airline, but their livery is a nightmare to paint. All these sloping stripes...

AirCal is cool, too, but more of a case for MD-80 or 737 fliers.

Oh yes, they were.

If you are in a colorful mood Bjoern, you could try some Braniff schemes :)

Paul Craig has already done a paint for the 727 in the colors of the original company.

Not sure if it's worth tackling the failure that was iteration #3.

(Iteration #2 would be better. They at least managed to exist five years - in the roaring 80s!)

PSA was also famous for 'The Smile"... :mixedsmi:

Well, those "smiles" were reportedly a nice tool to troll superiors during the later US Air days.
In the end, PSA, like Piedmont, got its own commemorative livery on an A319.

Funny, the Braniff picture brought back memories from my childhood, I remember seeing those various colors on their jets at Stapleton International.

Stapleton, huh?

Must...not...make...AFX...file...

:icon29: Thank you Bjoern, found the pack on avsim. Thank you doing the First Air and the 90's NWA.
