I had the pleasure of hearing the story from Royce himself in 2013 & 2014 when he was a guest speaker at Planes of Fame.

Unfortunately it can't capture the same feel as having heard him tell the story in person but it does do a good job otherwise.
He was still looking pretty good for his age, 94, when he was the guest of honor for Planes of Fame's Taste of Flight event in 2019.
