Installed it earlier today through the ROF GUI and it went very smooth. I started up my on-going Career Campaign just to see if everything was still okay. I didn't have time to actually fly the next mission yet but everything looked okay.
The Brisfit was in the selectable aircraft menu so that went well also.
The only item I still have on my question list is that the medals won during a Career Mode campaign don't stay sticky on the Hanger screen. I haven't seen anywhere on the ROF forum where that has been addressed yet.

Rise of Flight took me maybe 5 minutes to download.
The 1.02 patch took me at least all of 30 minutes to downlaod by a Torrent only thing available.
. . . . but well worth it!
