I did everything by the book 3 times and came up with the same error. Everything installs up to the point of deleting old files in 1.2 update; when it goes to installing the new files i get 24 lines of the "system cannot find the file specified". I even redownloaded the update 3 times. this is very exasperating; please help. tia brian chaney

Bwchaney, when is this happening, exactly?1. ETO must be set to Era 1, and the Spawn Selector must be set to 1, Stock Spawn Mode before installation of CFS3 ETO Expansion Rev 1.20.
2. Run the self-installer, making sure that the correct pathway to your existing ETO install is properly denoted.
a. The self-installer will remove certain obsolete folders and files before installing the Update.
b. Then you instruct the self-installer to run.
c. Immediately following installation, the self-installer will then automatically run the ETO BDP Zapper.
The BDP Zapper's progression is displayed by a small, black screen. That screen bears this name: C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe.
If the BDP Zapper had been run before installation, "system cannot find the file specified" will be seen running down that screen several times.
In other words, there may well be nothing wrong.

Everything you stated in your post was how i did the install. file not specified came right after the files were deleted. I new saw the files installed come up. I had to control alt delete to get out of the program. I could start eto but the opening screen said revision 1.0. I tried to start a campaign but got this message., Can not load the campaign file 1945 xml. reason unknown aircraft type spitfire ixc. This has happpened three times what am i doing wrong. tia Brian chaney

bw are u installing eto on a clean updated CFS3 or one thats been modded
