Good morning!

For those looking to upload 1% aircraft, Douglas has given us a username and password for uploading these aircraft. Anyone interesting in uploading these please send me a PM, and I will provide you with the username and password for uploading.

The aircraft must be in their original and unaltered condition.
 
On second thought, here is the uploading information for 1% aircraft:

Username: 1%
Uploading password: batzol

Remember, the 1% aircraft being uploaded must be in their original, unaltered condition.
 
I'm guessing a lot of dupes will show up - maybe u could compile a list of haves later and we could then look for the have nots.. don

SOH should be baptised the "CFS2 addons preservation website" since CFS2 dedicated sites are slowly fading away.

May I ask a dumb question?

I always wondered what's the meaning of 1%. Is it just a logo or, since the purpose was to provide CFS2 simmers with aircraft performance as close as possible to the real ones, does it mean something compared to the stock flight model?

The enclosed readme instructions never revealed the meaning of "1%".

Please, forgive my ignorance and my curiosity. :wiggle:

1% meant that the designers strove to get the performance of the sim planes to within 1% of the actual (real world) aircraft's performance. Yes, as close to possible to real...
 
I uploaded several 1% aircraft tonight. These are the Beaufighter TFX, Sea Hurricane IIc, the Hurricane IIc, the Hurricane IIb, the Me-262 night schwalbe, the Ta-152h, the Mustang Mk. III, the Spit XIVe, the Spit Mk. IXc, the Super Corsair, the Birdcage Corsair, and the P-61 Black Widow.
