10 Microsoft Updates Arriving Soon Expect 10 Microsoft updates next Tuesday, with patches for Windows, Office, Word, and IE. Busy Patch From Microsoft in June Microsoft has released their Advance Notification Bulletin for next Tuesday's vulnerability disclosures and updates. It describes 10 updates: 6 to Windows, 1 to Office, 1 to Excel, 1 to Word, and 1 to Internet Explorer. The IE update appears to address the most serious vulnerabilities. Source: ExtremeTech

sometimes the truth gets told in a joke. my auto update has been turned off since sp/sp3 beta screwed up my registries.

Recently installed Vista 32bit SP2. I do all updates manually. No prob's so far. IE7 included in the package, but I don't use it anyway.

My SP3 update went quite smoothly, but I did not see any gain in performance. On the flip side, I did not see any loss either!

I updated Vista 32 bit and it slammed my machine,I can't remember what batch it was.No updates since,I had to do a system restore to fix it.I do have Vista SP 1.The last one I did was Hotfix for Windows (KB954708)and Update for Windows (KB940157)
I don't use IE or windows defender so no more for me.

They didn't show up yesterday

:bump:

edit - They've just shown up! (all 15 of them)

I got the updates on both my laptop and desktop last night. Both are Vista 32 bit. The laptop was no problem, but the desktop wouldn't connect to the internet after the update. I re-booted, reset my modem, nothing. Then I tried Firefox and it started loading in, but very slow. Then I tried Chrome and it popped right in, then went back to IE8 and it popped right in and has worked since. Got to love Windows.
