Hi
Combat Flight Simulator WWII Europe Series, that we all know as CFS1, has been around for fourteen years. Oriented basically to fighters, its gauges were limited to one engine magnetos and starter. Fortunately, some RPM and BOOST gauges for FS98 were still usable under CFS1.
It took P.H. Burnage to offer us twin-engines starters and mags, but simmers flying three or four-engines had to rely on FS98 AIR files and gauges, or to hit the "E" key and wait for the 1-2-3-4 sequence, or the all-at-once for FS98 aircraft, even when it was unrealistic.
It is not without pride that I'm telling you that you wont have to wait 15 years; I've just created a set of four individual starters and a row of four magnetos for four-engined CFS1 AIR file. All functional, all capable of starting, shutting-off, and re-starting while flying or taxiing.
If you want to know more, go read THIS THREAD at LW designs.
Any suggestions for specific aircraft are welcomed. Actually, they are adorning a BIII (modified) Lancaster panel.
