17th Provisional Pursuit

A good while back I started working on a campaign and now it seems I won't do it. Attached is my research. It's not complete nor am I the scholar of such things but, I won't forget what I read.

AC,
this is an interesting project, and it would be nice if you would actually finish it!
I have made campaigns covering operations of the British Commonwealth air forces in Malaya and Sumatra and will soon start to work on a new one, which will tell the story of the RAF Hurricanes during the defense of Java.
Rami´s DEI campaign, my RAF stuff and your US campaign would make a complete coverage of the early war in the East Indies...
If you do not have the time to do it, maybe someone else would pick it up?

It seems my direction with CFS2 has deviated away from mission building so I would be happy if someone else would take this one up. The above file has been sitting on my HD for over a year so it’s not doing any good hidden away there.

I am currently trying to compile my first gauge via open source so I can make that "Your First Gauge" tutorial I've been promising. It is not going well but I am far from giving up.

Did I mention the 17th Provisional flew P-40's?

I read about the 17th PS in Christopher Shores´ books "Bloody Shambles", and I saved your document. Maybe I will pick it up sometime in the future..
Good luck with your gauge project!

Skylane,

Though I have not read it Bloody Shambles seems a must for this theater/era. I also keep specific references which might relate to the 17[SUP]th[/SUP] Prov. They are, though a bit jumbled, as follows:

Tutorial Update
I’ve just succeeded in "building" my first gauge via open source. Perhaps this crazy idea of mine can be done.

Happiest 4[SUP]th[/SUP] everyone,
