1st DR Who 1963

since the mid 70's I have been a big fan but never seen the first show until tonight.
wow.:encouragement:

can't connect with the first as the states always showed Tom Baker as Dr. Who on reruns esp 80's and 90's.

I remember watching that first episode too, back in 1963! William Hartnell was the elderly actor who played Dr Who.

I remember seeing the first episodes too , and every episode since. It's a pity the BBC recorded over some of the later episodes as there are a few missing from Hartnell's and Patrick Troughton's ( the second doctor ) Also, Willian Hartnell was only 55 in 1963 - the same age as the current doctor, Peter Capaldi.

every Sat night for as long as I can remember Dr Who has been on TV where I have lived so I am a big long time fan. but I can only recall seeing a few shows of the 1st Dr Who, so seeing the very first show the other night was a big thing for me.

I think this channel is going to have every Sunday night a Dr Who 2 hour show. I hope they run all the shown and Dr's in order.

They already show a 2 hour show on sat night, now it is Tom Baker, the one I started with, lol back in the late 70's

Looking forward to X-Files mini series coming up I blv 26th Jan... 6 episodes and if it goes well the main actors have indicated they are open to more. :encouragement:

Our family was living in London, UK, in the 1960's, and our school took us to see a Dr.Who play. Still remember the Daleks trundling around. :)
