thanks, i am starting glider instrution in real life in one of these, and my dad
(im 14) was shoure there was one some verson of fs, so i wanted to surprise him with one.

also is there a way to get to altitude other than climbing as somthing else (in my case a f-15) such as being towed

IIRC, most of Herr Piper's gliders feature a 'virtual engine' which simulates a winch launch, you just set the desired cut-off altitude,click the button/switch and away you go.

All necessary files are included in his downloads.

Wolfgang did a good job on this one, flies like the real thing, including the "less than good" 23:1 glide ratio

though when i try to load it, a massage comes up saying that i cant load the visual model, also can some one direct me to som thermal mods for fs-2004?

I just downloaded the 2-33 without a hitch, installed to FS9 per the readme and have a nice sailplane.

Do you have XP or Vista? With Vista you will need to establish administrator rights.
Do you have FSUIPC? it is required for some gauges.
Did you read the "tips_e.htm" located in the Docs folder? It answers most questions you may have.

Thermals

A search at AVSIM library using the word "thermals" produced 20 pages of thermal sceneries. I'm sure the same search at flightsim will produce many as well.
