Hi guys, Problem No1, Could some kind person download 2 sound files and email them to me, from CFS2 sounds, i can download some files but cant get these, Thanks in advance. "Fokker d XXI series 1 sound pack" and "BMW 132 version 2 sound package" Both by Obio.

Problem No2, Animation in gmax.I am trying to animate a Flak38. I know the naming conventions (i think), and i am ok with the movment for up and down, its the left and right movement i am stuck at,If i wanted it to revolve 360 degrees, both left and right ,how do i go about this in gmax, do i animate it to 180 degrees left then right, or do i animate it 360 degrees left then right and back to zero degrees, cant find much help in the cfs3 gmax game packs. i would really like to crack this, as i am thinking of going into the shipbuilding buisness, for my next gmax project. Any help will be most welcome. Jimmy.
 
Animation

Hmmm. Hold on a second there big buddy! If you are making guns, then you need gun#_l_r and linked to that gun#_fore_aft. You don't animate these at all in gmax, this feature is hard coded into the game. It is in the xdp that you define the range of movement with the left/right (180/180 for 360 degrees of movement) and up/down for elevation.

The flak 38 needs to be a vehicle that is static. There are examples in the vehilce folder of this. Lets look at the m-16 in gmax

it has the gun0_l_r (and its parts) and linked to that gun0_fore_aft (with its parts)
of course you need gun_grp0b0 and in the case of the flak 38 quad
gun_grp0b1, gun_grp0b2, and gun_grp0b3 all linked to the gun0_fore_aft node

once the xdp is developed the game takes care of the rest.
 
Well Thanks N. How are we supposed to know this,cant find any info on this. i will get cracking then. i will pm you soon regards sending the quad, and about the twin flak you wanted, thanks again, i had a look at the m16 but just found it confusing,

That would be cool. i have got them half working, they fire, but just along the ground. once i get it organized can i send it to you, Many thanks. Jimmy
