More important, it is to be acknowledged that the entire field distinguished itself in conquering the distance and elements over the mountains and fields of Europe and Africa. To accomplish this success requires extraordinary courage, skill, and determination. These pilots may be proud of what they have done.

Congratulations to all.

Edit:

Hi Mike (MM),

I've sent a couple PMs and now wonder if any are getting thru? :monkies:

Last one was about the above google link... does not work for me (say page does not exist).

Best..

Congratulation to all hands! This was a fun event, one of the most challenging yet.

Hi Mike (MM),

I fixed the link in Mike's post above. Not sure why it wasn't working, as it looked just like what I replaced it with to me. Anyhow, it works now.

Well, I'm certainly happy to be taking home a couple of Bronze medals from this one! Congratulations to everyone who finished this race, and big thank you to the race organizers for putting together an outstanding challenge of pilot skill! :ernae:

Thanks Mike ... what a great event!

Thanks to all who helped put this together and all who participated.

This was some of the most fun I have had in any event ....

Somehow these SOH soirees just get better and better.

Cheers All!,

Congrats to the winners.
I had a great time, and able to fly in a part of the world I rarely go to.
Thanks to everyone for setting up this event.

Congrats to all involved on another event well done.

Now it's time to think up another one :d.

Another fabulous adventure orchestrated by the SOH team who, once again, have allowed us to immerse ourselves in another challenging event in aviation history. :salute:

This was my second SOH adventure and, by no means, the last!

The icing on the cake is the group of participants who have so many different styles and are a pleasure to follow.
