Joe ,my friend was an A@E guy.He also was with the FAA,Doing Certifications.One Day this PERCIVAL PEMBROKE C.51 Shows up at SKYTOP.Thie Pilot a Young Man.Requested some modification .After being amazed he landed without busting up.The work Started.,When finished,The guy Manages to Take off..Either the Pembroke is a STOL air Plane,or the Pilot had great skill?,or like we all thought..DUMB LUCK...Thee were no trees then,at the runway end,he dipped out of sight ,and then engines roaring..away he went..I KID YOU NOT!..For me,It was Fun to help work on that plane.Which I found out has a long history.Now rotting away I guess in Caldwell NJ Airport. Owned by Yankee Air Force.Sorry for the Prop issue.Photo Me and my two young sons.Other kid ,with the Hair,is Joes Kid,Alex,now FBO at Morristown NJ Airport.The AZTEC was an Air Taxi,of which I sat in he Right Seat.Many Resort guests in the Area,Some need to get out quickly,,and We did that.All this at a Small Country Grass Strip .Was Fun!VIN

Yes ,The AZTEC is a great plane.Very Forgiving!unfortunately most just sit at ramps all over.. Most Twins cost too much to fly today...As Far as Flight Sim?? A Terrible omission of classic Piper....thanx Vin
