3-D Gauges!

Well, maybe. Been thinking of trying out some 3-D gauges built into the model. I understand most of the ani's (their names and purpose). But what about keyframes, ani length, needle ani's etc? Any tuts out there, or lists/tables?

Unsure about tutorials...I'm a 'trial & error' type!
3d gauges are one of the things I decided to include in the Quickie as part of my learning project. I have had moderate success to date. Enough to want to keep going :d
The modeldef file will give the length of the stock needle animations. You can couple that info with the scale of the given stock gauge to know the range...at that point you can mess with adjusting code to get a custom range.

Good Luck! Don't forget to stock up on learning juice :icon29:

Hi everybody,
Thank you Stiz for the link. I was also looking for informations about 3D gauges and this thread is like a gold mine for me.
Mister Piglet, are the 3D Gauges for your MS760?
I can't wait for it!:jump:
Regards,
Sylvain
