Overview: Semi Historical: On May 17th 1943 the 322ndt Bomb Group was tasked with a second attempt of hitting the P.E.N. powerplant facilities located at Ijmuiden, Holland. Eleven B-26b Marauders of the 322nd participated. The 322nd did not have fighter escort, they took the same flight path as their previous May 14, 1943 mission and they got lost.
