w-190A-8 BUTCHER BIRD
This aircraft was built by Gregory SARGE Pierson using version 2.82.100 of the AvHistory 1% Assembly Line process. It is based on the stock MS Fw-190.
Dan Swart has custom painted this aircraft to represent "Black 8" of Unteroffizier Willi Maximowitz, IV. Sturm/JG3 based at Salzwedel in June 1944.
Willi Maximowitz shot down 27 enemy aircraft, 15 of them four-engined bombers. He claimed one bomber by ramming on 23 March 1944 and possibly rammed another bomber, date...
