• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

as nasty as this thing looks...it ran..just short bursts..but it ran...was funny to see,,,you would hear it coough and sputter and the fire..it woould run for maybe 30 seconds and shut off.....and the crowd of people wound hurry over there but they wouldnt fire it back up...then about an hour would pass,id look over and see the hub turning slowly...then cough coough cough..POW POW POW...rumble rumble...off...and all the people would come running again....AFTER it was shut off...then the L39 albatros aircraft from the patriots flight team fired up and kicked up alot of smoke and made noise and folks ran over to the radial...so the guy fired it up then...only time i accaully saw a crowd there when it was started....lol..btw the L39s were pretty cool to see take off..used up the runway....
 
With nothing to move air between the cylinders, he probably couldn't run it for long without overheating it.
 
yes..would over heat very fast..but my point was,it was amusing to see the people run to it to see it run after he had allready shut it off..and then to look at the shape its in...geeese..you would have thought he dug it up from an old barn
