Here's some pics of the action in the Solomon Islands.

The P-40 is a P-40f flown from Guadalcanal by Capt.Kenneth Taylor ( Pearl Harbor fame ).Many thanks go to Capt.Winters for doing this plane for my missions. It hasn't been released yet and I just got it this morning to try.My only contirbution to it was the airfile.

The P-40f was flown from Guadacanal in late 1942 and early 1943.Later the P-40k and P-40m were used.As these missions progress I will use the P-40m.

I've been around but been busy with some life matters.During the Holidays I do alot of shows.I was a professional musician for over 35 years and now just play this time of the year.

I have January and Febuary of 1943 done for the 44th FS and starting on March.

A new Corsair will be introduced during the Febuary missions thanks to Capt.Winters.It is from USMC 124.

A couple of pics.
 
January 1943 to June 1943 is now done.So far there are 35 missions.I will start on July soon which will be the last month of the mission pack.

I did this mission pack for Gecko because of his interest in the 44th.If you're interested speak up.
 
Yes please upload, kind Sir! Even though summer and time pressures mean little activity Down Under at the moment. But I will hope to install and use a cracking version of RS over winter - using the new environment and all your great missions, and those of the other master mission builders.

This is for PTO Solomons but you will need some planes from Rising Sun.Plus there will 2 new planes uploaded in the package.
 
July is done and there is a total of 40 missions.You will be flying a P-40F ( new plane ) from January through June and in July the P-40M by MajorMagee.In Febuary the Corsair for VMF-124 ( new plane ) will introduced as an AI.You will need 7 planes from PTO Rising Sun as well.I made new spawn files for the missions and some facilities.

Some of the missions are easy while others are real furballs.In the long range missions you have to keep an eye on your fuel so you can make it back to base.Most missions have alot of action.

I will put a package together this week for testing to make sure I don't forget anything.

My tester has had a busy work schedule this year so it will take a little longer.I know he has everything setup in PTO to start flying the missions.Remember there are 40 missions and not everyone has time to fly everyday.

I expect a couple of weeks before release.
