It's being called BS on all of the historic aircraft sites, at least for the time being - the story itself has been around for ages, so until there are remains of aircraft actually coming to the surface and photographed (much like the buried Spitfires in Burma)...
Recently there was also a story that came out of a previously unknown, original, Do-335 found in the basement of a castle in Germany, supposedly left there by the Germans at the end of the war - except that it is only a replica, that was constructed in modern years by Holger Bull (known for producing replicas/full scale models of WWII German and "Luftwaffe '46" aircraft), using some original parts.

I think one photo accompanying that article may well be a steaming pile – the third one, of a Fw190 "chasing a Spitfire over the English coast", looks like a paste-up to me.

First two photos are of the Flugwerk replica that used to be based in France (since ditched in the sea/now under rebuild in Germany). The video features another Flugwerk replica, based in New Zealand (also currently down for major repairs). The two B&W photos showing both 190s and Spitfires are both (rather poor) mash-ups of photos.
