• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

Wow, just noticed my 6 year aniversery since joining SOH is coming up this week. MG, where did all the time go? In FS eras that would be CFS, FS98, CFS2, FS2000, CFS3, FS2002, FS9, FSX. And I still have the boxed software for each lol.

Wow, I hadn't realized, but having originally joined SOH in around September of '03 (after lurking for a while), I passed my 8-year mark a little while back. I know a select few members can claim even longer, as I still clearly recall being a "newbie" amongst many then. Those were the days, when all the talk was limited to warbirds and vintage aircraft - nothing ever was mentioned about "tube-liners", and rarely a topic might have been brought up about a modern GA aircraft, which is why it attracted me so greatly over all of the other forums. : )

Oh, and you could almost always count on at least one screenshot thread posted by Panther each day, back then - I really miss that!

I joined in Aug '05, and this site quickly became my home. It has been fun watching and learning from others here. I definitely miss Panther's screens, they were the best.
 
My signature sayz 2005 too (August), but i've been member long before the big reset of accounts in 2005. Lot of people registered and gone since then.
Been a great place for almost a decade (for me that is). :salute:
 
FsX is already five years old! I joined here before the release of Fs2002, but after I bought Fs2000 in late 2001, so about ten years ago I think. The big crash of '05 did mean anyone registered before that had to re-register here.
 
2001 for me.
Fs2002 had just been released and CFS2 aircraft could be imported. Great days:jump:. Within a few months I was the Fs moderator in the first non-combat forum at SOH and a little later Fs admin....it's great to be back:engel016:
 
I remember in 2000-2001 the Outhouse was an outhouse. I was using CFS2 and out of a job, so I had a lot of time on my hands. I converted a lot of airplanes to CFS2 and released conversion kits. Some were quite popular. Then September 11th happened and I've been very busy ever since.

Ya know, I'd forgotten about that. Went back and checked my saved forum registration notices, (keep 'em all, for passwords!) I had joined in Feb '05. It has been a great time, and hoping to hang around for many more.
