Here is my repaint of the Virtavia A-4E/F Skyhawk in the markings of VMA-131...QG-10

Outstanding! This will join my other 131 liveries. I wish they still had Marine Reserve Attack squadrons...those guys knew how to fly an A-4. :cost1:

nice! Glad you guys are enjoying the repaint. I have a few more to put out and will do so over the coming days. Life has been crazy and I know I've promised numerous times to put them out but.......can't put off the ex-wife too often.


Anyway.....here is a teaser....

great - now I need to buy the Scooter....

you much of a fan of this jet, skyhawka4m...?...these paints are killin' me bud - flat out perfect
 
It initially had some bugs in the FDE but I do believe they have been fixed. I am using an FDE sent to me as a test and liked it and stuck with it. I understand they created new ones for each model to fit loads and such. For me....I'm just about buzzing the trees so....I'm happy with the one I have for now. To me it was worth it because I grew up with VMA-131 in my back yard unit the left the MARINES with A-4M's.


This is another paint I was working on......its supposed to be without the hump on the spine but I've found that the spine has some layering issues and went with the hump. I wanted to do a clean aggressor model but.....oh well.....looks good this way too.

ok.....and two more. As you can see on QG-00 there is some stretching of the textures on the upper engine area....as I was talking about. I did the best I could with this one.,.......from some angles you never see the stretch........especially from the cockpit.....also note the wing spoilers painted white on the 131 bird....this is accurate to the unit.

Pity about the pesky hump - they look killer humpless ....

I had hoped that they would do the Super Foxes like the ones in your picture as they were up engine and better avionics. The VFC aircraft in your shot was one of the units I wanted to do....I may still do one but in the markings they had in the E model.
