The particular Beaver in this story was made in 1957, purchased by different owners in Canada & the USA over the years, & is still going strong. I have flown in numerous Beavers over the years. I even washed a few when I was a teenager washing and gassing airplanes for flight time.

They are the pickup trucks of bush flying.
