If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I accidentally forgot to re-expose this damselfly (thanks brad kaste) and I took a pretty dark picture of it. However, it turned out to be a neat photo, probably my best shot of the day.

What do you guys think? Do any of you have mistake shots that turned out to be neat?

Neat shot, KK! I wish I had something to post, but time and technology have rendered my possible posts obsolete! I guess I show my age now!:medals::icon29::guinness::applause::running:

I think I've posted this one before, but Mrs Willy took it and it's one of those shots where everything just seems to come together totally by accident.

She don't let me play with her camera much.... probably a good thing too.

Kiwikat,...what you photographed is a damsel fly. In the family with dragonflies. Nice photo!

Yeah I was thinking that myself... but wasn't entirely sure. Dragonflies have wings going straight out from their bodies, damselflies seem to have wings angled rearward.
