Just a few notes of experience so far:
I am currently running two campaigns. One in 1918, SE5a, winter, and one in 1916, N11, Alsace spring. The new winter textures are great, good work. Graphically P3 is stunning, my only complain being the solid band of cloud that I see in the horison sometimes under certain conditions (will post a pic to show if I take one).
After all waypoints/goals are met, I realised that nothing is recorded. During a transfer misssion we encountered an enemy flight upon arrival over the new airfield. During the dogfight I flew over the waypoint and got the message "no more goals". I managed to shoot down three Albatri before landing (probably rookies, I was lucky) but were not allowed to file claims for them after that. I guess it's a CFS3 thing that can not be changed, no worries, it doesn't happen often anyway.
Lastly, I noticed that the flight time recorded takes into account the warping and is not the actual time during the sim. So the 20 minutes that I should have spent going to the target without warp are credited to me even though it took me 5 seconds to warp to the target area.
Well, as a representative of the OFF Warper's community, a big thank you.
I don't know if this is fair to the people who do not use warp, but certainly for us who have no more that half an hour in the day to enjoy OFF, certainly helps in crediting as much flying time to our pilots as possible.
I have been shot at and forced to crash land twice but haven't died yet. Guess I haven't met a vetaran or ace yet.
