    Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

    You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

    If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

    To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

I bought the Got Friends Mini-500 this morning. Combined a test flight of it at the new freeware Edwards AFB (plus the separate aux field) scenery available at Flightsim.to plus my new Tobii Eye Tracker 5. The three products combined together make for one of the most enjoyable flights I've had in MSFS to date. I haven't bought many add-on aircraft for MSFS because so many of them are of models I had owned in previous versions of Flightsim. However, the Mini-500 is such a cool and unique design that I couldn't resist, especially considering the $15 price. The Edwards AFB scenery is very framerate friendly and highly detailed, with a ton of fantastic small details all over the place. Combine the two with the excellent Tobii Eye Tracker 5 and you get about the best type of experience that MSFS can offer.
PS: It seemed appropriate to take a first test flight in the Mini-500 at KEDW using the included "Stealth" scheme that includes mini guns. Make sure you purchase directly from the Got Friends site for the Stealth model due to MSFS restrictions on the display of weapons (which is of course an absolutely absurd restriction).

I downloaded both , but I have some hangers that are pink , assuming missing textures but from where ? Does anyone know what dependencies this scenery needs ?

The dependencies are listed in the edwards download description. But these seem to be adders, not textures. The only issue I have is flickering main hangar walls on the building just north of the tower. The 500 is a sweet little craft.
 
I saw that Into the Blue liked the Mini 500. It would be ironic if the best chopper in the sim so far is a representation of such an unsuccessful design. I was frustrated by my attempts at the Asobo helicopters and would like to think it is not all my fault. Maybe I will give this one a try.
