A little breathing room...

To all,

I gave my PC a little breathing room today...I picked up a 1TB (terabyte) Seagate external with a five-year warranty for $89.99.

I spent this evening backing up all of my files...and I've used about 11% of its total space. My old 120GB backup was really getting stuffed!

This made me laugh...after all my backups last night, this was the result. :icon_lol:
 
I couldnt feel secure without my external hard drives. I have 4 and I try to back up everything to at least 2. They are not overly expensive. My old computer is still in the workshop and having major surgery so I'm still cadging time on my ex's laptop and I'm in CFS2 withdrawal. I will but a new one soon, money permitting. I've just got to install some of the downloads from the last couple of months!
 
A Terabyte!

We've come a long ways from my first Apple computer that had no hard drive storage and 5 1/4" floppys.

Speaking of externals, today I need to back up my lap top to my external HD with all the cool CFS 2 stuff downloaded from the last few weeks.
 
I have one of 500Gigs and it is like Rami's. It has used up virtually NO space with all my backups. I wish I had gotten one earlier than I did.

Good pickup Rami. i still like western digital's external hd's i ve got like 6 of them for gaming. Have to get another one though for thirdwire and cfs 2.
