This is for the good folks who use windows 7 . How many Microsoft C++ redistributable do you have in the add remove program . thanks .

5, but then mie is a brand new load/install. Seems that an update does not remove the previous version.

Thanks everyone, for the help . I have 14 . It seemed to me that I only had one or two not long ago, and it came from FSX .

I only have 1.:jump: I had to reinstall Windows 7, fs9 and fsX around Christmas so it is fairly new. But I seem to really out of sync here. Maybe I should add in some more so I won't feel like I'm being deprived.:icon_eek:

Thanks again for the replies . I was curious as it seems in my case, every time one of these are updated I loose a little in FSX . so i have been researching it . i came across a thread where someone said to increase the performance in FSx, make sure you reinstall the original C++ that came with FSx . I did this and ran FSX in dx9 mode fawlessly with 60+ fps . As be for I could only run FSX in DX10 mode . But like with all good things come the bad . MS updated C++ just a day or 2 later and now back to DX10 . The only thing left to determin, is the video card manifacturer .

So with one last question, do you run ati or nvidea ?

For anyone who is interested, I found this thread about removing the C++ program a while back .
