A little perturbed...

Since it's my birthday, my Girlfriend gifted me up to $50 for some payware addons (Market place sale that expired on my B-Day). So I got Orbix Ketchikan, The Carenado B55 Baron, the EMB 110 and Kodiak on floats. Baron works fine but I'm having issues with the EMB 110 and Kodiak. Can anyone tell me how to get the EFB tablet to work in the EMB 110? I push and hold the "Power" button on the tablet and all it does is flicker for 1 frame and then nothing. Don't get me started on the Kodiak. Using the built in checklists and the engine over temps on startup and won't answer the throttle so I can't even taxi... That's the most frustrating.

Just found a thread on the MS forums that addressed my problem. Apparently, you have to cycle the prop to full feather back to fine pitch in the Amphib to "unlock" it.

I think it simulates the start lock that many float planes have to minimize thrust on startup. I pull it into reverse thrust temporarily to get it ready for high rpm on the condition lever

I have known those struggles with new payware before as well and YES, it is VERY irritating sometimes. Glad you got it sorted and Happy Birthday Brian!
