A new computer for Christmas

Hi, i am saving up for a Christmas present to myself of a new computer. I qwant something that will make FSX run smoothly with most video sliders to the right even under heavy traffic consitions is places such as KLAX, or KATL.

I am requesting that some of you who have machines that FSX runs smoothly give me some basic details of you systems as this will allow me to make an informed choice.

Right now I am looking at the I Buy Power website where I can customize a desktop.

They have 1) intel core i7 980x, 6 core 3.33 ghz processor, 2)12 GB DDR 3 1600 RAM, 3)NVIDIA GTX 480 1.5 GB superclocked video card.

The proble is even if I fork out the $2,400 for this machine, will it get FSX running smoothly? I will be awfully upset if it didn't. So you understand why an informed choice is very vital in this purchase.
