For Carrier aviation FSX is better and P3Dv4 is even better than that, I think.
FS2004 has no moving carriers, or did I miss something? But I think it's a great idea!

Back in the old FS9/2004 days in the virtual USN using static carriers and a custom weather set up. DCS has great boat ops but I would add MSFS now to the mix with Miltech's Supercarrier Pro. Great interview and would love more sea stories flying the Big Fighter during the Cold War days.
For some of us, FS2004 has never gone out of style.
This is something I had been planning, some medical stuff delayed it a bit but now I guess its time.
I'm going to start it off with something even older, the old USS Stennis scenery (CVN74JF.ZIP) by Javier Fernandez for FS2K, updated with new AFCAD, Flatten, and Traffic BGLs so it works seamlessly in FS9. This is the Stennis scenery that's located about 150 miles west of the Cali coast. I've been testing everything and making some tweaks for the last couple of weeks and its ready to go.
Why an FS2K carrier? For as old as it is, Javier really got it right and the location is perfect. Far enough out at sea so it feels authentic for a pre-deployment work-up, weekly ops, or the first (or last) leg of a full WESTPAC deployment.
