A question about Josh "Heater"s Osprey Nav Strobe addon.

A question about Josh "Heater"s Osprey Nav Strobe addon.

I would very much like to modify the lights for the MOST outstanding MV-22 by Maryadi. The multi-color effects look cool!

But the aircraft.cfg file as shown confuses me, because of the entries that are //'ed out? Shown on left are the text entries that Josh says should be used to modify the existing aircraft.cfg file, but am hesitant to make the change. Aside from the numbering, the legend at the top of the Lights section would need changing as well, wouldn't it?

you can't do anything on lighting system position.
light system embedded in model and controlled via dll gauge.

aircraft lighting on aircraft.cfg are for fix light. while Osprey need all movement on light (nacelles movement, bold and stow)

a trick could be make, but need you expert enough on modeling, and you can make adjustment to it.

Thanks for your reply, Kalong! I was under the impression that Josh "Heater"s mod didn't involve repositioning lights. I thought it added different colors? NC

Heater's Navigation Light strobe effect | Maryadi's V-22B.zip

JS Nav Strobe Mod V1.0

Many videos on the internet show the V-22B's Navigation Lights strobing/flashing prior to startup or after shutdown of the engines. This is controlled by the computer of the aircraft. Unfortunately, the V-22B by Maryadi does not have this simulated (as of March 2017).

This modification will allow a user to strobe its red, green and white Navigation lights with the "strobe" switch in the cockpit.
