A question about scenery object bgl's

I am redoing NAS Fort Worth, it'll take a while but I'll get it done. I have Scenery objects for the C-130's and F-16's and even a few F-5's. My question is this, is it possible to add additional repaints to those bgl's and how would you do that? For my own purposes, I can adapt the textures for what I want for my own use, but releasing that would be a no no.

Should all this revert back to the designer for modifications if I plan to release, even as freeware?

Yep, the textures are called for in the MDL. To change it to another texture you would have to have the source file and assign it a new texture and then re-compile it (it was easier when we used old scasm API's, you could edit those in notepad, LOL).. While every designer has different feelings on how their work is used, it's the right thing to get permission first.

I went thru this exact thing when I first started scenery design using existing objects. It's amazing the freedom and creativity it opens up to you when you start to make your own objects.

BTW the project is looking great.

That's kinda what I figured, thanks Michael
