A Question For Mr Stephen Scholz

Mr Scholz is the creator of a series of WW1 AEG Bombers, he has done a magnificant job in creating these master pieces...I would just like to ask Mr Scholz how I can get these AEG bombers to taxi and turn, I have tried a number of differant airfiles to get them to turn but so far I have not met with success, I have tried his E-mail but it comes back. I highly reccomend these airplanes to those interested in WW1 planes..but they must be flown carefully as in those days they were very slow. So Mr Scholz if you visit here I hope you can anwser my question thank you for your hard work!

Cheers

I dunno... I just tried one: aeg4_2k2 and had no problem turning on the ground or in the air. It takes a lot of rudder and a fair bit of power, esp. on grass ( higher drag from the tailskid?) or serious use of differential braking but it turns. Remember, it does NOT have a steerable tailwheel so it's not going to be like a Cub.

Not bad model for a FS2002 product and with a bit of panel work it could be better... nice period gauges, tho' (actually they seem to be FS98 models upgraded to 2002)

To be fair I tried another- the Zeppelin Staaken R.IV. -- it also handles slowly but works on the ground.. in the AIR- think Zeppelin!!! - slow, ponderous turns with lots of "lead" to the controls.

Fun if you have lots of patience and not something to fly into mountain strips!
