A question for painters

Is there any aircraft 3D 360° aircraft viewer to use while rendering aircraft such as there is in Nascar Racing
shown in the attached video?
It makes it so much easier to check your render before installing into the game which eliminated pulling from game to make corrections
and reinstalling.

Not for CFS3, although a couple of tools can be used with FS9 for the same result - one reason why modellers are best not to restrict themselves to just one sim.

start CFS3 with the "-m3dv" -option.

Create a second shortcut to your CFS3.exe by copying it. Right click on the new shortcut, choose "properties"

The **"target"-line should look like this: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Combat Flight Simulator3\cfs3.exe" (with the quotation marks!)

now add a space at the end of it and add -m3dv at the end again.

now it should lookt like this: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Combat Flight Simulator3\cfs3.exe" -m3dv

This opens CFS3 as a model viewer.

** I'm not sure ir it's called target in englich windows-versions, as mine is german. It's calle "Ziel", german for "target". It's the entry in the properties that points to the exe-file.

For ETO, MAW and RisingSun be sure the target points directly to the CFS3.EXE and not to the .bat file calling for the CFS3.EXE

A few more starting options are:
-time you can now increase and decrease game-speed by CTRL-SHIFT-E and CTRL-SHIFT-R
-window starts CFS3 in a window
-800 -1024 -1280 sets the size of the window, works only together with the -window option

Hope it helps
