A question involving City Update 11

SOH-CM-2024
Fellows, I have SamScene's New York City Times in both 2020 and 2024. With City Update 11 installed, should I delete SamScenes New York City Times from my Community Folders in each sim or will there be conflicts between the two?

I saw a video from CaptainKenobi yesterday on YouTube comparing the two. The SamScene NYC Times worked fine with CU11, and the buildings represented by the add-on looked a lot less post-apocalyptic than the photogrammetry versions.

I actually just bought the 2024 NYC Times upgrade (didn't know it was a thing, since OrbX is terrible at marketing) after seeing your post. I had the 2020 release but OrbX didn't notify me the upgrade was a thing.

I've got both the 2020 and 2024 versions of the SamScene NYC scenery. With both City Update 11 and the SamScene scenery installed, there are some clashes if you have a detailed-enough eye/if you look close enough. It's noticeable where there are skyscrapers added with the new photogrammetry that hadn't existed in the old photogrammetry, and were added in the SamScene addon without needing any excludes for the previous photogrammetry. However, if you just look at the scenery with a passing glance, you probably won't notice these clashes.

Well, I beg to differ, this is with both installed in MSFS 2024. Something has got to go, somewhere there are not complete textures. No clashes in fps, but for the time being, I am going to put SamScene's scenery in holding and fly only with City Update 11 and see what I get.

I'm afraid something has definitely gone haywire there, Cazzie, though I don't know what would fix it (the pink buildings of course indicate that they're unable to find the textures they're assigned).

This is how it looks in MSFS 2024 for me, with both City Update 11 and SamScene's New York City installed:
