A Question

noddy

SOH-CM-2025
I currently have to addiontional hard drives installed on my pc, E: which is an old disc with Steam games and P3D V5 on and F: which is a SSD with P3D V 4.5. Now the question is do I keep the F drive and just upgrade to a SSD for the E drive or just have the one drive for everything?

Cheers,
Andy

I think theoretically you could pack everything on one drive, but separating the sim from other applications is always a good idea. I even have my sceneries on a different physical SSD drive, as well as addon programs, if they not need the root p3d folder (which they shouldn't).

Cheers,
Mark

I'd go for the extra SSD Noddy, always a good option (IMHO) if you can manage it.
Roger's separation setup is similar to my own.
:encouragement:

I have decided to go for a 2 TB SSD to replace my aging HD, so this will be used to put Steam games and P3D on there. The other SSD I will clear out P3D 4.5 and will keep my Orbx stuff there instead of being with the root folder, 500GB should cover that!
