A Question

I've just added some more skins to my A2A/WOP P-51D Mustang folder but despite double and triple checking that I've got all the i's dotted and t's crossed in the Aircraft CFG they're not showing up when I launch FS9. I have just over fifty skins in the folder now and I'm just wondering if there's a limit to the maximum number of skins that FS9 will accommodate or recognize?

I've got about 90 Beech 18 paints. If there's an upper limit, I haven't found it yet.

In one of the latest patches (don't remember which one) there are 2 model folders (model and model.1). Some of the newer paints pertain to the model.1
mdl file, which is a HD version. (new texture mapping I believe) Make sure you have the latest patch for the (Wop_A2A) WWII_Fighters_P51D, it should have this
model in it. Then check the cfg file to see if the paints are for the HD version. I believe that Bomber_12th and jankees did a bunch repaints for the HD version
and do reflect on this in the readme files.

Also check carefully that you haven't missed/doubled up a number in your fltsim numbering. So easy to do. And none of the textures after the incorrect one will show up.

Make sure you have the right textures for the right models. The original WOP model will use the textures from the WWII set (HD) only if the sw_p51d_1_t.bmp & sw_p51d_2_t.bmp textures are also painted in the same scheme. (RARE!) The WWII (HD) models can not use the WOP textures.
