A small GSL scenery present for you...

Hey gang,

I took an hour or so this evening and created GSL files for many of the Ports and the Hawker Aircraft Factory.

The GSL package is attached. These are for Layout Package IV, so if you follow the readme you will have all of the files you need anyway.

Port of Ramsgate: N51 19.2070, E1 22.0445
Port of St. Malo: N48 36.8340, W2 0.0506
Port of St. Nazaire: N47 12.9028, W2 10.3227
Port of Nantes: N47 17.9590, W2 0.7382
Hawker Aircraft Factory: N51 0.9782, E0 47.2508
Port of Portsmouth: N50 49.1190, W1 7.4022
Port of Dover: N51 13.9941, E1 18.5776
Port of Cherbourg: N49 39.2849, W1 37.2264

All of the guns and ships have been removed, so they are mission-builder ready.

Hello again,

Central London was a bit trickier. Here is a GSL file that combines my docks on the East end, along with a few patches of buildings, and unites them with Sander's London objects in one combined GSL file.

And here are the coordinates for Central London: N51 28.1029, W0 9.8232

Make sure that you have these two file packages, but DO NOT install the GSL files that come with it.

Oh yeah, I forgot...

Before I go to bed,

I forgot to attach the bitmap that Psullykeys did for the Hawker Aircraft Factory. He included a nice little runway next to it.

Which brings me to my next point...if someone would be willing to create a runway.bgl and an airbase.dat for it, we'd have a nice little runway next to the aircraft factory that we could select from the airfield selection screen.

For me, I put the scenery .bgl files and the texture bitmap into my EuroTargets folder.

Has anyone had problems installing these? How do they look?
 
St Nazaire is looking good. Are there any U-Boat pens available in CFS 2? The pens at St Nazaire and Lorient are still standing today.

Yes, but only for DamBusters. It's a shame, there's also a nice Lanc series that comes with them. I had to use the best options available...unless someone wants to make them.

Also, I have updated the readme files for the Europe campaigns on my website to include the links to Sander's files here at SOH. I'll put up the RCAF campaign and Mosquito squadron later tonight, I still have a bit of work to do on them yet.

Good evening,

Psullykeys was able to walk me through making a runway.bgl file for the Hawker Aircraft factory, so now you'll be able to takeoff and land at the Hawker factory, plus be able to select the runway from the aircraft selection screen.
