A Whole Lot Of Rivets Going On

Took a few days off from the F-80s to work on another Lockheed. One thing I can say for sure is that there's one heck of a lot of riveting to do on a Connie. Manfred Jahn's L749 in a revamped Merc Air paint scheme. (still got a little minor tweaking to do, but I know now that I can get it right how I want it)

And for those who have seen screenshots of it in the old paint, yes, the whitewall tires are still on it.

Thanks Paul! I've learned a few new tricks since I lasted visited it and I'm seeing what all I can apply 'em to. Next up gonna see what I can do with a C-46. I did some several months ago but wasn't really satisfied with the look of the metal. I think I can change that now.
