A2A Aerostar Released for MSFS2020

Got it and it flies very nicely in 2020. Standard A2A quality through & through. So 36 years after I first serviced a real Aerostar and heard the good and bad about them (especially the negative nickname "Death Star"), I had to perform an engine out drill pulling the fuel condition lever to off then manually pull the prop into Feather range. Had to bank and kick plenty of rudder into the good engine side but it still climbed heartily! It was a bear on final but as you can see, got er down safe. Got a lot to learn with this thing!

when you can pull off a reasonable facsimile of a real world emergency procedure in a simulation it is both gratifying and an indication of a level of effort on the developer side that matters - both of the simulator and the aircraft. Something to place in the win column for sure

First A2A aircraft I will not buy. I wish they revisited their warbirds, but hey, that's just me I guess...

I love their warbirds as well, but the quality and feel of A2A are such that if they modeled a refrigerator, I'd probably still buy it! 😂

I bought the Aerostar for 2020 and so far have no complaints.

I have no doubt that it will be perfect, but it's an aeroplane that I'm not interested in at all...bit like a refrigerator really

I like the subject, just not so much a fan of the price. I'm well aware of the dev's reputation for nearly flawless work, but I already have enough hot-rod twin recip's in my hangar.

Agree Tom - there's so much out there and coming that I know I will need pennies for. This price just doesn't quite get me there even though I love the aircraft and had hoped it would come to 2020..
